Collecting Maple Sap

March 18, 2014

As our cold New Hampshire winter brings us nothing but freezing nights, we are left with few things left to do until the sun melts away the permanent sheet of ice covering the ground. Making maple syrup is a classic northern activity, and I got to participate in collecting it from the trees. Thinking about doing it myself in the future!

Most of the collected sap turned into a block of ice in the buckets, which can be seen here.
I just like the helpful information you provide on your articles. I will bookmark your blog and test once more here frequently. I'm moderately certain I will learn many new stuff right here! Best of luck for the next! gkffeebbaekg
